Overview
Embark on a 7-day Kenya Safari starting with a stay at Panari Hotel Nairobi. Experience the majestic Thompson Falls and a day trip to Solio Ranch for wildlife viewing. Journey to Lake Nakuru National Park and Sentrim Elementaita before heading to Maasai Mara National Reserve, renowned for its diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy game drives and optional activities like visiting a Maasai Village or a guided bushwalk. The safari concludes with a scenic drive back to Nairobi and drop-off at JKIA for your flight home.
7 Days Itinerary
On this day, you will be met and assisted by our representatives upon arrival at JKIA airport. You will be led to the awaiting vehicle and assisted with your luggage as well. Later be transferred to Panari Hotel Nairobi where you can relax and freshen up after the tiresome flight. Dinner is available on this night at an extra cost. We are also flexible to organise dinner at another restaurant before check in also at an extra cost. Later retire to your room for overnight.
Overnight at Panari Hotel NBO – Breakfast Only
Wake up early for breakfast. Guests are requested to carry their luggage to breakfast for a convenient departure and also avoid the heavy early morning Nairobi traffic. You are also advised to carry warm clothing because we are travelling to a relatively cold place for the next 2 days. Board the awaiting safari vehicle and depart for Panari Resort in Nyahururu. It takes about 3 hours to arrive at the hotel. Upon arrival, you will be assisted to check in then head to the room to drop your luggage before coming back for lunch. After lunch, board the awaiting safari vehicle and head to Thompson Falls located half an hour away. Thomson’s Falls also referred to as Thomson Falls or Nyahururu Falls is a 74 metres waterfall on the Ewaso Nyiro river in Laikipia County , a few kilometers from Lake Ol Bolossat, which drains from the AberdareRanges. The waterfall is a truly magical sight to behold. Make sure you take as many photos as possible. Later head back to Panari Nyahururu for dinner then overnight.
Overnight at Panari Nyahururu Resort – Lunch, dinner and breakfast
After breakfast we depart for Solio Ranch, for a full day game drive where you will see numerous numbers of wildlife. The ranch is a fenced, privately owned protected area geared toward rhino conservation. The 17,500-acre reserve plays a major part in the protection and breeding black rhinos in Kenya. The rhino is a member of the ‘Big-Five’, which are a key tourist attraction; other wildlife include the buffalo, zebra, giraffe and plains game such as eland, oryx, impala, waterbuck, Thompson’s gazelle and warthog. Packed lunch will be provided by the hotel and will be had during safari. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Panari Nyahururu Resort – Lunch, dinner and breakfast
Guests will wake up in time for breakfast before checking out of the lodge. Guests will then board the awaiting safari vehicle before departing to Lake Nakuru National Park. The distance from Nyahururu to Lake Nakuru is approximately 70km and takes up to 1 and a half hours to get there with a scenic drive enroute. . Arrive at the park and have a comprehensive gamedrive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a premium park in Kenya that boasts high wildlife population such as buffaloes, lions and a huge rhino population as well. The lake is also home to a diversity of aquatic birds such as flamingos, storks and pelicans. Later depart for Sentrim Elementaita for evening at leisure, dinner and overnight.
Overnight at Elementaita Sentrim – Lunch, dinner and breakfast
Guests will wake up in time for breakfast before checking out of the lodge. Guests will then board the awaiting safari vehicle before departing to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The distance from Lake Elementaita to Maasai Mara is approximately 217 km and takes up to 3 and a half hours to get there with a scenic drive enroute. Maasai Mara is one of the most popular wildlife havens in the world and boasts a diversity of flora and fauna and also has the highest population of lions in the region. The Mara is also home to the annual wildebeest migration that happens from July to mid-September and is a mind – blowing sight to behold. Arrive at the lodge in time for late lunch. Guests will be given time to freshen up before departing for an evening gamedrive at 0400hrs and returning to the camp before nightfall for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp – Lunch, dinner and breakfast
Enjoy a full day game drive with packed lunchboxes and experience renowned views the reserve has to offer. You will also visit a traditional Maasai Village and have a one Guests also have the option of having a guided bushwalks across the savannah in the company of an armed ranger and a local Maasai guide. Optional activities such as hot air balloon safari and horseback safari can be organised at an extra cost. Balloon safaris must be booked one day in advance. You can also return to the lodge in the afternoon to enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp – Lunch, dinner and breakfast
After breakfast, guests will check out from the camp, guests will board the awaiting safari vehicle ready for departure to Nairobi. You will drive back via the Rift Valley and enjoy a scenic drive along the way. Later you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.

Passenger Information:
- Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage).
- Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving in Kenya and Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Payment terms: Unless the agent/client has an approved credit facility in writing from Primate Tours (Credit facility currently not applicable), the agent/client is required to make full/deposit payment prior to final confirmation of reservations.
Payments must be made in the nominated currency (US Dollars), and conversion between USD & Kenya Shilling currency will be subject to applicable exchange rate provided by Central Bank of Kenya at the time of payment/conversion. Payments are payable to our accounts directly with details indicated in all our invoices and fiscal receipt to be provided as a proof of payment.
Deposit requirements: We require a 30% deposit of the total value of the respective booking to confirm any service outside 90 days prior to date of arrival, any other special activities/service that require payments in full upon confirmation i.e. Flights, Gorilla permits etc, will also be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
For bookings falling between 61 – 90 days prior to the date of arrival, we require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking.
For bookings falling between 1 – 60 days prior to the date of arrival, we require a 100% deposit to confirm the booking.
Deposit; some properties may require 100% payment to confirm their bookings, we advise that you reconfirm with our reservation team at the time of booking.
Single Room Policy; All properties allow a maximum of 03 single rooms per group (Inclusive of TL room where applicable), any extra single room above this number will be charged a full double room rate, please check with our reservations team for the exact supplement amount applicable in case of a bigger number of Single rooms.
Proration; Please note that for booking that has dates crossing from one season to next succeed season will be subject to proration to establish the exact cost, always check with our reservations to reconfirm on exact cost.
